Empty Stocking Fund

For nearly 70 years, the Gainesville Jaycees have worked to bring the magic of Christmas to children in need through the Empty Stocking Fund. Throughout the year, and especially in the months leading up to the holiday season, we raise funds across our community to provide gifts for approximately 250 local children identified by school counselors as being in need. In December, our members come together to shop for every child, making sure each gift is chosen with care and purpose. The following week, families join us at our annual skate party, where they receive their gifts and enjoy a special visit from Santa. Your support helps make Christmas morning brighter for local children and reminds families that their community is standing with them.
